What We Believe

"... And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread and in prayers."  Acts 2:42 (KJV)

The core beliefs of New Beginnings Apostolic Fellowship are based on the foundational truths taught in the Bible.
All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these Biblical truths.

We believe there is one God, who revealed Himself to humanity in the person of Jesus Christ.
Deuteronomy 6:4, 1 Timothy 3:16, John 14:9

Salvation & Baptism

We believe that Salvation is only found in Jesus Christ.  We believe the "new-birth" experience is comprised of repentance, water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ and the infilling of the Holy Spirit.  We believe this is the pattern for all believers to follow as a result of their belief on Jesus Christ. We believe that when a person receives the baptism of the Holy Spirit, that person will speak with other tongues.
Acts 2:38; Luke 13:1-5; Acts 10:44-48; Acts 19:5-6;  Acts 2:4; Acts 19:6; Isaiah 28:11

The Church

It is the responsibility and duty of born again believers to continually develop and grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ so others may see the result of Jesus in them. We believe that God's power is still active in the church today and that miracles, signs and wonders follow them that believe.
Mathew 5:13-14;  2 Peter 3:18; 1 Corinthians 15:5-8; John 14:17; Colossians 1:27; Hebrews 13:8;
1 Corinthians 2:4; 1 Peter 2:24

Catching Away of the Saints

Jesus Christ is returning one day to judge both the living and the dead and to usher in the fullness of God's kingdom on earth.   We believe the church will be raptured by Christ and will exist with Him forever in eternity.
1 Thessalonians 4:15- 18; 1 Corinthians 15: 51-52; 1 Thessalonians 10:10
